Invite Susan to your Book Club

Book Groups

S.W. Hubbard discusses ANOTHER MAN’S TREASURE with the Florham Park/Asco book club.

I love book clubs! Not only am I passionately devoted to my own, I’d love to visit yours. We’ll talk about how I came to write the book, how I got published, and the nitty-gritty of character development, plot twists and red herrings. If your book club has ever wished they could ask the author just what she meant to achieve in her book, this is your chance.

For groups that meet within an hour’s drive of Morristown, NJ I’d be happy to come and speak to your book club in person. If you’re farther away, I can participate in your book discussion by Skype (don’t fret—it’s easy). That’s me on the computer screen below, participating in this book club’s discussion of Another Man’s Treasure. Click here to send me an email to set up a time for the discussion.

Discussion Questions for Book Clubs

Regardless of whether you’d like me to join your group, you might like to have some questions to guide your discussion of my books. Mysteries offer lots of opportunities for great discussion. In addition to talking about the plot and the characters, you can discuss how the clues and red herrings were handled. Did the revelation of the killer surprise you? Did all the plot threads come together satisfactorily? I’ve prepared some guiding questions for each of my novels, which you can find here.
